Вчера Антон купил несколько старых книг 19 века. От них даже пахнет историей, а у пожелтевших страниц с твердыми знаками есть своя эстетика. Еще до революции, когда в Петербурге царствовал Николай II, Ленин был еще совсем молод, не было еще даже моей прабабушки, а эта книга уже жила, и ее держали в руках люди той эпохи. Как приятно иметь такие вещи с историей. Особенно если это книги.

Yesterday Anton bought some old books of the 19th century. They even have the smell of the history, while the yellowed pages with old russian letters have their own aesthetics. Even before the Revolution, when Nicholas II reigned in St. Petersburg,  Lenin was very young, this book has already lived, and it was kept in the hands of the people of that era. How amazing to have such things with history. Especially if those things are books.

Spring Collections

Я не люблю писать про тенденции. Во-первых, об этом можно прочитать в любом журнале, ну а во-вторых, я обычно нахожусь под впечатлением от каких-либо образов и деталей, чем от тенденции как таковой.
Поэтому я расскажу Вам о трёх марках, которые больше всего меня впечатлили, и под влиянием которых, я составляла свой весенний гардероб.
Сегодня речь пойдет о Dries Van Noten. Весенняя коллекция этой марки поразила меня с первого же лука. Все те же принты, но сочетание глубоких черно-белых пейзажей с морской гладью произвело на меня куда большее впечатление, чем просто цветочный принт. Удивительное соседство современных образов и нарядов с басками, пальто с вышивками, как будто не принадлежащих нашему веку. Здесь можно увидеть влияние эпохи 17, 18 века, технических зарисовок крыльев бабочки. Все это сочетается с современным принтом моря и черно-белых пейзажей. Просто потрясающе!

I don't really like to write about trends. First of all because the information can be found in any magazine,  and secondly, I'm usually impressed by some particular looks and details than by the trend itself.

So I'll tell you about three brands, which collections I like the most and which collections had an influence on my spring-summer wardrobe.

Today I'll speak about Dries Van Noten. The spring collection of the brand struck me from the first look. All prints are the same, but the combination of deep black and white landscapes with a blue smooth sea impressed ​​me much more than just floral prints. Amazing images of today's aesthetics along with the basques, coats with embroidery so different from our epochs' aesthetics. Here you can see the influence of 17, 18 century, technical drawings of a butterfly's wings. All this is combined with a modern print of the sea, black and white landscapes. Simply amazing!

HOMO CONSOMMATUS

На прошлой Aurora Fashion Week я была в восторге от показа Homo Consommatus . В этом сезоне состоится еще один показ этой прекрасной марки, который пройдет в Белом зале ТВЗ Манеж 14 апреля в 19-00. На этот раз дизайнер марки, Алексей Сорокин, был вдохновлен образом крупной ночной бабочки Acherontia Atropos. Так и называется сама коллекция, которую марка покажет уже скоро в рамках Aurora Fashion Week Russia. Будем ждать показа, о котором я Вам потом обязательно расскажу!

On the last Aurora Fashion Week, I was delighted by the show Homo Consommatus. This season will be another show of this wonderful brand, which will be held in the White Hall of the TVZ "Manege" on the 14th of April at 19-00. At this time, the designer of thid brand, Alexey Sorokin brand was inspired by the image of the large butterfly Acherontia Atropos. Во всю готовлюсь к приближающейся Aurora Fashion Week, которая пройдет с 9 по 14 апреля. До этой недели будет еще один интересный день - 7 апреля в ТК «Невский Центр» будет работать открытый офис Дирекции AFW Russia. Посетители торгового комплекса смогут увидеть, как создается Международная Неделя моды.Об этом я еще обязательно расскажу подробнее. Тем временем, вчера в Петербурге пошел снег, а все мои заготовленные весенне-летние наряды всё еще лежат дома. Уже так хочется тепла!
